Rebus Bookkeeping and Accountancy are growing our team and a great opportunity has arisen to work within our expanding practice which focuses on micro and small business clients across the Central Belt.
This is a part-time position and hours are very flexible – a commitment of 16-20 hours per week is required with the potential to increase the working hours over the coming months. The successful candidate will work from our very friendly office in Livingston, West Lothian.
This is a very dynamic client facing role and the main responsibilities are:
sales and purchase ledgers
preparation of VAT returns
ad hoc bookkeeping administrative duties for the practice
Qualifications and Work Experience
A good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is essential.
Experience in payroll, Xero and/or other cloud accounting software would be advantageous and although training will be provided for the right candidate, some experience in a previous bookkeeping role is strongly preferred.
